Terms of Service

Last updated: May 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Pain Radar ("the Service"), operated by Jordan Slater from Queensland, Australia. By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Service description

Pain Radar is a software-as-a-service product that ingests publicly available text from sources such as YouTube comments and Google Autocomplete suggestions, uses AI models to extract and rank consumer frustrations, and presents the results as a ranked dashboard and weekly email digest. The Service is provided for general research and product-discovery purposes.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create a paid account. You agree to provide accurate registration information and to keep it current. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and all activity that occurs under your account. One account per person; accounts are non-transferable.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

4. Subscription and billing

Paid plans (Builder and Pro) are billed monthly in advance via Stripe in Australian dollars (AUD). Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancelling stops future charges; access continues until the end of the current billing period.

Promotional pricing (such as the launch promo "$9 first month") applies once per customer and reverts to the standard plan price at the next renewal.

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on the first paid month. See our Refund Policy for details.

5. AI-generated insights — accuracy disclaimer

The opportunity scores, cluster labels, summaries, and rationales presented in the Service are generated by large language models (Claude Haiku 4.5 and Claude Sonnet 4.6) and are not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or current. AI models can hallucinate, misclassify, or surface signals that do not reflect real consumer demand. You should treat all output as a starting point for your own research, not as a substitute for primary research, customer interviews, or professional advice.

Nothing in the Service constitutes financial, legal, business, or investment advice. Pain Radar does not warrant that any opportunity identified will result in a viable product, market fit, revenue, or any other outcome. You are solely responsible for decisions you make based on Service output.

6. Intellectual property

Pain Radar (including the code, design, scoring methodology, and brand) is owned by Jordan Slater. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the Service for your own internal product-discovery purposes for the duration of your active subscription.

You own your account data (your email, your saved weight preferences, your subscription status). On request and reasonable notice, we will export or delete your account data.

7. Third-party services

The Service uses third-party processors including Supabase (authentication and storage, hosted in Sydney, Australia), Stripe (payments), Resend (email delivery), Anthropic (LLM inference), Voyage AI (text embeddings), and Google APIs (YouTube data, Autocomplete). Use of those services is also subject to their respective terms.

8. Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time via the Stripe customer portal or by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms, abuse the Service, or attempt to scrape or resell data in violation of section 3. If we terminate your account for cause, no refunds will be issued for the remainder of the current billing period.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pain Radar's total aggregate liability arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service is limited to the amount you paid to Pain Radar in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or AUD$100, whichever is greater.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email to your registered address and posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Queensland, Australia. You and Pain Radar submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland and the federal courts of Australia for any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms.
